![]() So I really can't understand what the problem is here, would appriciate some more experienced eyes. TexStudio and MikTex are all up to date, I found templates of other Universities online and they compile without a problem, as do my CV and cover letter. First I get lots of errors about a longtabu environment, if I delete this table completely, then I get bunch of other errors and it still won't compile. ( Link) I open "thesis.tex", set it as explicit root document (or not, tried both) and try to compile. So I started writing on Overleaf, but now the project got fairly big on size with all the Tikz images and Overleaf usually times out or says the project size is too big and won't compile unless I delete some of the images. Warning All your files must have an extension. Build&View directly calls the View command after building. This runs the latex compiler and, if necessary, bibtex, sometimes several times until a final pdf is produced. The problem is though, that this template is refusing to be compiled on TexStudio or TexMaker locally, whereas it complies without a problem on Overleaf. The easiest way to compile a document is to use the Compile command ( F6 ) or the Build&View command ( F5 ). My faculty has a latex template to help students format their theses, so I am obviously using that. Except for my CV and Cover letter that I use for applications, this happens to be my first project in Latex, so I am kind of a newbie.
